Polly Signing at Comix Experience

By Ted Naifeh  //  News  //  2 Comments

I will be apearring at Comix Experience in San Francisco, on Saturday, the 28th of January, 2012! Comix Experience is currently the oldest comics shop in San Francisco, which makes me feel weird, since I first dropped in the week it opened, over 20 years ago. But it’s also the first store in the city that fully embraced the “new” comics, when Alan Moore, Neil Gaiman, Grant Morrison, and a handful of other innovators showed a new generation what comics could do. Many great artists have appeared at this store over the years, and it’s going to be a big honor for me to sit where they sat and promote my latest offering, Polly and the Pirates Volume 2If you’re a bay area local, come by and get your copy. also, a free sketch of Polly goes to the first person who gives me the secret key phrase, “Crimson Poppy.”

  • Crimson Poppy from Italy in not valid I suppose ^__^ I’m so happy … now I only wait the arrival in Italy !!!! Probably for Lucca Comics&Game 2012 is a dream … maybe

  • I found the writing and story to be lovely as usual. The art, however, did not measure up. Far inferior to your own skills, and the format made it even worse – the linework was very hard to follow. I really missed the girls various facial expressions in your own drawings.
